It's time to step up.
Texas needs trained workers. These free campaign materials are available to help educational institutions encourage the next generation of Texans to earn a college degree, certificate or credential to make their lives—and the state of Texas—better.
If you are connected with a college, university, technical school, or any other educational or training institution in Texas, share this website with your communications and marketing teams. Funded by a grant from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to help promote their strategic goals, this campaign is free and available for any institution to use.
If we want Texas' economy to continue growing, we need 60% of Texans ages 25-34 to obtain a college degree or certificate by 2030.
Step Up Texas is a regional rebrand of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s 60x30TX initiative. Launched in 2015, 60x30TX refers to the state’s strategic plan for at least 60% of Texans ages 25-34 to obtain a certificate or degree. Other 60x30TX goals include increased completion rates, more focus on marketable skills, and lower undergraduate student debt.
